Cold. All around, unending cold. That's how every day felt for me. The steel floor freezing under my bare feet as I waited for the scientists to shove needles into me, seeing how I'd react to their latest discovery. Some days it was an experimental virus, other days it was alien nanites. Despite them making me stronger, I never managed to overpower the guards.
